Jega returns to BUK after tenure as INEC chairman

The outgoing Chairman ‎of the Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega, will return to his lecturing job
at Bayero Univeristy, Kano (BUK), at the expiration of his tenure today.

Prof. Jega, who until his appointment as INEC chairman on June 30, 2010, was the Vice-Chancellor of Bayero University.

The former INEC boss, who is an alumnus of BUK, will resume teaching
at the university after a successful five-year term in INEC.
