Yusuf Lasun Elected House of Representatives Deputy Speaker

Yusuf Suleiman Lasun has been elected deputy speaker of the House of Representatives.
His election came despite APC’s endorsement of his opponent Monguno Tahir, Premium Times reports.
Lasun had 203 votes to defeat his opponent, Tahir, who had 153 votes.
